About Us
Manursing Island Club is a distinguished and exclusive family retreat nestled along the picturesque shores of Long Island Sound in the charming town of Rye, New York. Established in the illustrious year of 1911, this venerable institution warmly welcomed its inaugural members in June 1912, under the esteemed leadership of Marselis Parsons, H.F.G Wey, Cornelius Sewall of Rye, and Waldron Williams of New York City, who served as its founding officers.
Guided by our venerable charter, Manursing Island Club remains unwavering in its commitment, as it eloquently states: "To promote the social relations among the members… and to encourage a means for the enjoyment of outdoor and indoor sports, games and past times of every kind."
In the present day, Manursing Island Club stands as a paragon of excellence, steadfastly fulfilling its mission. We offer an unparalleled range of premier activities, including world-class tennis, paddle, and swimming programs, a pristine sandy beach, year-round dining experiences that tantalize the senses, and enriching summer camp programs, all set within the embrace of a multi-generational family-centric ambiance.
